Subsection 3: Delegation of territorial chambers of commerce and industry

The delegation is made up of members of the territorial chamber of commerce and industry whose activity or the business they represent is located in the delegation’s constituency and who have been identified as members of the chamber and of the delegation during the electoral operations. The delegation, which cannot meet by professional category, submits its proposals and wishes to the chamber. It may be consulted directly by the administration on specific problems in its constituency. The delegation submits its operating rules, which are incorporated into the chamber’s internal regulations, to the territorial chamber of commerce and industry for approval.

The delegation elects its chairman, who is by right a member of the bureau of the territorial chamber of commerce and industry. The delegation meets when convened by its chairman or at the request of at least one third of its members. It may appoint associate members under the conditions set out in articles R. 711-3 and R. 711-4.
