Section 4: Prohibitions.

It is forbidden for any person to publish, by any means, comments, information or intelligence about minors engaged or produced under the conditions set out in articles L. 7124-1 and L. 7124-4, other than that concerning their artistic creation.

All abusive advertising aimed at attracting minors to artistic professions, the lucrative nature of which is emphasised, is prohibited.

Written advertising offering modelling work to children under the age of sixteen may only come from modelling agencies that are licensed to employ children under the age of sixteen.

It is forbidden for fathers, mothers, guardians or employers, and generally for any person having authority over or custody of a child, to entrust their children, wards or apprentices under the age of sixteen, whether free of charge or in return for payment, to persons practising the professions mentioned in article L. 7124-16. It is forbidden for any person exercising one of the activities and professions mentioned in article L. 7124-16 to employ children without carrying a birth certificate and without proving their origin and identity by producing a passport.

In the event of a breach of the provisions of this chapter, the mayor shall prohibit any representation by persons exercising one of the professions mentioned in article L. 7124-16. He shall also require proof, in accordance with article L. 7124-18, of the origin and identity of all children placed under the supervision of the persons mentioned in that article.
