Subsection 2: Termination of benefits

The accommodation for asylum seekers provided for in Chapter II ends at the end of the month during which the applicant’s right to remain on French territory ended, under the conditions provided for in Articles L. 542-1 and L. 542-2.

The conditions under which persons who have been recognised as refugees or granted the benefit of subsidiary protection and persons who have been the subject of a final rejection decision may be, on an exceptional and temporary basis, kept in a place of accommodation mentioned in article L. 552-1, are determined by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.
