The decision to end material reception conditions taken pursuant to article L. 551-16 shall be in writing, give reasons and be taken after the applicant has been given the opportunity to submit written observations to the French Office for Immigration and Integration within a period of fifteen days. The additional amount paid to non-accommodated persons provided for in article D. 553-8 may be withdrawn by the Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration if the beneficiary has provided false information regarding his or her place of residence or accommodation arrangements.

The benefit of the asylum seeker’s allowance may be refused by the Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration:1° In the event of a request to re-examine the asylum application;2° If the applicant, without a legitimate reason, has not submitted his or her asylum application within the period stipulated in 3° of article L. 531-27;3° In the event of fraud.

For the application of 2° of article L. 551-16, an asylum seeker is considered to have left their place of accommodation if they are absent for more than a week without valid justification.In this case, the manager of the place shall inform the French Office for Immigration and Integration without delay, pursuant to article L. 552-5.

For the application of 4° of Article L. 551-16, the financial resources are those referred to in the second paragraph of Article D. 553-3.

The procedures for refusing or reopening material reception conditions are specified by the French Office for Immigration and Integration when the offer of care is made in a language that the asylum seeker understands or can reasonably be expected to understand.
