Title I: PURPOSE AND SCOPE

In accordance with articles L. 111-2 (2°), L. 112-2 and D. 311-1 of the Code du cinéma et de l’image animée, the conditions under which the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée supports the cinema and other moving image arts and industries by granting financial aid are set out in these general regulations.

Financial aid is awarded by the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée in accordance with the procedures set out in these general regulations, which lay down the general conditions for their award.

Financial aid is granted by the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée jointly or in partnership with other public or private entities. The international agreements, regulatory texts or conventions that institute and organise this aid are mentioned by the provisions of these general regulations to which they refer. Financial aid may be granted by the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée to support actions or projects of general or collective interest, or the overall activity of public or private bodies, in the field of cinema and other arts and moving image industries.
