Paragraph 1 : Commission des aides à l'écriture et à la réécriture de scénario (Commission for scriptwriting and rewriting grants)

The Commission des aides à l’écriture et à la réécriture de scénario is made up of seventeen members, including a chairman and two vice-chairmen, appointed for a renewable term of one year from 1st September each year.

The Commission is made up of two colleges sitting separately.The first college comprises the Chairman, a Vice-Chairman and seven other members. It is responsible for examining applications for assistance with writing and rewriting first screenplays for feature-length cinematographic works.The second college comprises the chairman, a vice-chairman and seven other members. It is responsible for examining applications for assistance with writing and rewriting other scripts for feature-length cinematographic works.

The reading committees are made up of the committee chairman, the vice-chairman of the relevant college, two full members of that college and four readers chosen from a list drawn up by the Chairman of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée. The agenda for the meetings and the choice of readers for each committee are set by the committee secretariat.
