Selective financial aid is awarded to operators of cinemas classified as art cinemas and receiving art cinema aid to encourage the programming of short-lived cinematographic works.
Aid for the programming of short-lived cinematographic works is awarded to cinematographic entertainment establishments that organise a number of cinematographic entertainment screenings per cinema equal to or greater than four hundred per year on average during the reference period defined in article 231-13.
Aid for the programming of short cinematographic works is awarded in consideration of : 1° The cinematographic establishment’s membership of an organisation that organises and promotes the screening of short cinematographic works, in particular, the Extra Court scheme, the CLAP (Nouvelle Aquitaine), Mèche courte (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes), Cour (t) s devant (Centre), Flux (Hauts-de-France), RADI Bretagne and Quartier Libre (Seine-Saint-Denis) networks ; 2° The number of short-length cinematographic works programmed during the…
The decision to award a grant is made after receiving the opinion of the art cinema commission, under the conditions defined in article 231-30.
The aid is awarded in the form of a grant.
