Section 5: Advisory Committee

The Documentary Innovation Grants Committee is made up of eleven members, including a chairman, appointed for a period of one year, renewable once.

The Commission is made up of two colleges which sit separately.The first college, made up of the Commission Chairman and six other members, is responsible for examining applications for writing and development grants.The second college, made up of the Commission Chairman and four other members, is responsible for examining applications for enhanced development grants.

The reading committees consulted on projects for which a writing grant is requested include three alternate members of the committee.The agenda for the meetings and the choice of readers for each committee are set by the committee secretariat.

The reading committees consulted on projects that are the subject of an application for enhanced development aid are made up of one full member of the second college and two alternate members of the Commission.The agenda for the meetings and the choice of readers for each committee are set by the secretariat of the Commission.
