Selective financial aid is awarded to authors for writing an elaborate version of projects for works that contribute to the objectives mentioned in article 422-2.
To be eligible for writing grants, authors must be French nationals or equivalent.
Authors who have written, directed or produced:1° At least one feature-length cinematographic work that has been approved for theatrical release and selected at a festival;2° At least one short-length cinematographic work that has been approved for theatrical release and selected at a festival or broadcast on a television service or on-demand audiovisual media service;3° At least one audiovisual work lasting at least 26 minutes that has been broadcast on a…
The following projects are eligible for writing grants:1° Project for a feature-length cinematographic work;2° Project for an audiovisual work in the genre of fiction, animation or creative documentary, in the form of a single work or a series;3° Project for an immersive work.
The same project may not simultaneously benefit from writing support for an elaborated version of a project dealing with population diversity and equal opportunities and from other writing support granted by the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée, unless an exemption is granted by the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée when the development of the project involves a change in its duration,…
