Applications relating to a person’s declaration of absence shall be brought before the judicial court within whose jurisdiction the person resides or last resided. Failing this, the competent court is that of the place where the applicant lives.

Les demandes relatives à la déclaration d’absence d’une personne sont portées devant le tribunal judiciaire dans le ressort duquel celle-ci demeure ou a eu sa dernière résidence. A défaut, le tribunal compétent est celui du lieu où demeure le demandeur.
