Article 1136-2 of the French Code of civil procedure

The provisions of Section VI of Chapter II of Title III of Book III are, subject to the provisions of Article 267 of the Civil Code, applicable to the division of the property interests of spouses, persons bound by a civil solidarity pact and cohabitees.

For the purposes of the partition of the community, the family court hears the procedure for the affixing of seals and the descriptive statement defined by Section I of Chapter II of Title III of Book III.

Les dispositions de la section VI du chapitre II du titre III du livre III sont, sous réserve des dispositions de l’article 267 du code civil, applicables au partage des intérêts patrimoniaux des époux, des personnes liées par un pacte civil de solidarité et des concubins.

Pour les besoins du partage de la communauté, le juge aux affaires familiales connaît de la procédure d’apposition de scellés et d’état descriptif définie par la section I du chapitre II du titre III du livre III.
