Article 1136-7 of the French Code of civil procedure

The order ruling on the application for protective measures for victims of violence shall be provisionally enforceable unless the judge provides otherwise.

The order sets the duration of the measures taken pursuant to articles 515-11 and 515-13 of the Civil Code. Failing this, they shall terminate at the end of a period of six months following notification of the order, subject to the provisions of articles 1136-13 and 1136-14; this is mentioned in the act of notification.

L’ordonnance qui statue sur la demande de mesures de protection des victimes de violences est exécutoire à titre provisoire à moins que le juge en dispose autrement.

L’ordonnance fixe la durée des mesures prises en application des articles 515-11 et 515-13 du code civil. A défaut, celles-ci prennent fin à l’issue d’un délai de six mois suivant la notification de l’ordonnance, sous réserve des dispositions des articles 1136-13 et 1136-14 ; il en est fait mention dans l’acte de notification.
