Article 1217 of the French Code of civil procedure

Outside the cases provided for in articles 390,391,442,485 and in the third paragraph of Article 494-3 of the Civil Code, the court shall be seised by application delivered or addressed to the registry of the court of first instance.

When the application is made for renewal of family habilitation, a copy of the decision appointing a habilitated person shall be attached.

Article 1217

Hors les cas prévus aux articles 390,391,442,485 et au troisième alinéa de l’article 494-3 du code civil, le juge est saisi par requête remise ou adressée au greffe de la juridiction de première instance.

Lorsque la requête est présentée aux fins de renouvellement de l’habilitation familiale, il y est joint une copie de la décision ayant désigné une personne habilitée.
