Where the application has been lodged at the registry of the judicial court, the notification referred to in the third paragraph of Article 1563 states that the opposing party must constitute a lawyer within fifteen days of that notification.
In other cases, the applicant’s lawyer is informed by the court registry, as soon as the application is handed over, of the date of the first useful hearing at which the case will be called. This date is brought to the attention of the opposing party in the notification provided for in the third paragraph of article 1563.
