Article 211-8 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The French participation includes all French and foreign financing provided by the delegated production company and the other production companies established in France, excluding financing provided by the co-producer(s) established abroad. This funding is determined in consideration of the stipulations of the co-production contract insofar as they correspond to the size of the contribution made by each of the production companies and the risks assumed by them.

Article 211-8

La participation française comprend l’ensemble des financements français et étrangers apportés par l’entreprise de production déléguée et les autres entreprises de production établies en France, à l’exclusion des financements apportés par le ou les coproducteurs établis à l’étranger. Ces financements sont déterminés en considération des stipulations du contrat de coproduction dans la mesure où elles correspondent à l’importance de l’apport de chacune des entreprises de production et des risques assumés par elles.
