The mentions relating to nationality provided for in the previous article are automatically entered on copies and extracts with an indication of parentage of birth certificates or certificates drawn up in lieu thereof.
These mentions are also entered on extracts without an indication of parentage of birth certificates or on the family record book at the request of the interested parties. However, mention of the loss, declination, forfeiture, opposition to the acquisition of French nationality, withdrawal of the decree of acquisition, naturalisation or reinstatement or the judicial decision having established foreign nationality is automatically entered on all extracts of birth certificates and on the family record book when a person who has previously acquired this nationality, or had it judicially recognised, or issued a certificate of French nationality has requested that mention be made of it on the said documents.
