Article 421-16 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The production company has twelve months from the date of the decision to award the grant to submit the finalised version of the project to the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée, together with proof of expenditure incurred.
In exceptional circumstances and at the reasoned request of the production company, the aforementioned deadline may be extended for a period not exceeding twelve months, by decision of the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée.

Article 421-16

L’entreprise de production dispose d’un délai de douze mois à compter de la décision d’attribution de l’aide pour remettre au Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée la version finalisée du projet, ainsi que les justificatifs des dépenses effectuées.
A titre exceptionnel et sur demande motivée de l’entreprise de production, le délai précité peut être prolongé d’une durée qui ne peut excéder douze mois, par décision du président du Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée.
