Article 442-5 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The beneficiary or beneficiaries of aid have a period of one year from the date of the award decision to provide the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée with proof of the progress of the project.
In exceptional circumstances and at the reasoned request of the beneficiary or beneficiaries, the aforementioned period may be extended by a period not exceeding six months, by decision of the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée.

Article 442-5

Le ou les bénéficiaires d’une aide disposent d’un délai d’un an à compter de la décision d’attribution pour remettre au Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée les justificatifs de l’état d’avancement du projet.
A titre exceptionnel et sur demande motivée du ou des bénéficiaires, le délai précité peut être prolongé d’une durée qui ne peut excéder six mois, par décision du président du Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée.
