A mention of the decision to change the sex and, where applicable, the forenames is made in the margin of the birth certificate of the person concerned, at the request of the public prosecutor, within fifteen days of the date on which this decision has become final.
Notwithstanding Article 61-4, changes to first names correlative to a decision to change gender are only entered in the margin of the civil status records of spouses and children with the consent of the persons concerned or their legal representatives.
Articles 100 and 101 apply to gender changes.
