Article 696-29 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

If the Investigating Chamber finds that the legal conditions for extradition have been met, it shall issue a judgment in which it acknowledges the person claimed’s formal consent to be extradited and, where applicable, his waiver of the rule of speciality and grants extradition.

The Investigating Chamber shall rule within seven days from the date of the person claimed’s appearance before it.

Si la chambre de l’instruction constate que les conditions légales de l’extradition sont remplies, elle rend un arrêt par lequel elle donne acte à la personne réclamée de son consentement formel à être extradée ainsi que, le cas échéant, de sa renonciation à la règle de la spécialité et accorde l’extradition.

La chambre de l’instruction statue dans les sept jours à compter de la date de la comparution devant elle de la personne réclamée.
