Article 713-7 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

However, if the public prosecutor has reason to believe that the confiscation of a specific item of property involves action in several States, or that one or more items covered by the confiscation order are located in different States, he or she shall transmit the confiscation order and the certificate to the competent authorities of those States.

Toutefois, si le ministère public a des raisons de croire que la confiscation d’un bien spécifique implique d’agir dans plusieurs Etats, ou qu’un ou plusieurs biens visés par la décision de confiscation se trouvent dans différents Etats, il transmet la décision de confiscation et le certificat aux autorités compétentes de ces Etats.
