Article 821-1 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

Selective financial aid is awarded to operators of cinemas to reward the implementation, between 1 October 2021 and 30 September 2022, of programming, entertainment, education and communication initiatives aimed at encouraging attendance at cinemas by the public aged between 15 and 25, known as the young public, and supporting the discovery by this public of the diversity of the cinematographic offer, in particular art house cinematographic works within the meaning of articles D. 210-3 to D. 210-5 of the Code du cinéma et de l’image animée.

Article 821-1

Des aides financières sélectives sont attribuées aux exploitants d’établissements de spectacles cinématographiques afin de récompenser la mise en place, entre le 1er octobre 2021 et le 30 septembre 2022, d’actions de programmation, d’animation, d’éducation et de communication visant à encourager la fréquentation des salles par le public âgé de 15 à 25 ans, dénommé public jeune, et à accompagner la découverte par ce public de la diversité de l’offre cinématographique, notamment des œuvres cinématographiques d’art et d’essai au sens des articles D. 210-3 à D. 210-5 du code du cinéma et de l’image animée.
