Article 897-1-A of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The time limit for lodging an appeal provided for in the first paragraph of article 568 is extended to one month if the applicant in cassation resides outside the island where the court that handed down the contested decision has its seat.

Le délai de pourvoi prévu au premier alinéa de l’article 568 est porté à un mois si le demandeur en cassation réside hors de l’île où la juridiction qui a rendu la décision attaquée a son siège.
