Article 917-9 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

In order to receive the direct allocation, the distribution company must complete and submit, by 30 June 2021 at the latest, by electronic means, an application form drawn up by the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée, together with all the detailed invoices justifying the amount of distribution expenses incurred prior to the theatrical release that has taken place or was initially planned. The distribution company must provide proof that at least 30% of the total amount of the invoices submitted has been paid.

Pour l’attribution de l’allocation directe, l’entreprise de distribution remplit et transmet au plus tard le 30 juin 2021, par voie électronique, un formulaire de demande établi par le Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée, accompagné de l’ensemble des factures détaillées justifiant du montant des dépenses de distribution effectuées antérieurement à la sortie en salles de spectacles cinématographiques ayant eu lieu ou initialement prévue. L’entreprise de distribution doit justifier qu’au moins 30 % du montant total des factures présentées ont été acquittées.
