Article 919-45 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

In order to encourage the resumption of theatrical exhibition of cinematographic works, the rates for calculating the sums representing the automatic financial aid to which distribution companies may lay claim, on account of the commercial representation of cinematographic works in cinemas, are fixed according to five successive periods under the conditions set out in the articles below.

Afin d’encourager la reprise de l’exploitation en salles des œuvres cinématographiques, les taux de calcul des sommes représentant les aides financières automatiques auxquelles peuvent prétendre les entreprises de distribution, à raison de la représentation commerciale des œuvres cinématographiques en salles de spectacles cinématographiques, sont fixés selon cinq périodes successives dans les conditions prévues aux articles ci-après.
