Article 965 of the French Code of civil procedure

The first president may delegate to one or more magistrates of the court all or part of the functions assigned to him by subtitles I and II.

The presidents of chambers may likewise delegate to the magistrates of their chambers all or part of the functions assigned to them by subtitle I.

Le premier président peut déléguer à un ou plusieurs magistrats de la cour tout ou partie des fonctions qui lui sont attribuées par les sous-titres Ier et II.

Les présidents de chambre peuvent de même déléguer aux magistrats de leur chambre tout ou partie des fonctions qui leur sont attribuées par le sous-titre Ier.
