The training for the first-level “brevet d’Etat d’éducateur sportif” includes:
– a training unit in leadership and training (minimum duration: forty hours);
– a training unit in organisation (minimum duration: forty hours);
– a training unit in teaching lasting at least one hundred and ten hours: this unit includes a work placement lasting at least fifty hours;
The training for the second-level “brevet d’Etat d’éducateur sportif” includes:
– a training unit (minimum duration: eighty hours; this unit includes a forty-hour work placement);
– a management training unit (minimum duration: eighty hours);
– an executive training unit (minimum duration: eighty hours; this unit includes a forty-hour work placement for regional executives);
– an optional training unit of your choice:
– modern language;
– IT.
Training for the first and second levels includes teaching on sport for disabled people. This training is given in collaboration with the sports federations, holders of the delegation instituted in article L. 131-14, for the practice of physical and sports activities by disabled people.
Each stage of the training for the first and second levels is assessed by the team of trainers. This assessment must be recorded in the training logbook.
