Article A322-163 of the French Sports Code

All establishments have the following equipment:

1° A plan or aerial view of the landing area so that any obstacles in the vicinity of the landing area can be identified. This must be displayed in a place visible to all users;

2° A windsock or pennant indicating the wind;

3° A ground-to-air radio link with the pilot of the aircraft;

4° An anemometer;

5° A means of alerting emergency services;

6° A pair of binoculars.

Tout établissement dispose des moyens matériels suivants :

1° Un plan ou une vue aérienne de la zone d’atterrissage permettant de repérer les obstacles éventuels situés aux abords de la zone d’atterrissage. Celui-ci doit être affiché en un lieu visible de tous les pratiquants ;

2° Une manche à air ou une flamme indiquant le vent ;

3° Une liaison radio sol-air avec le pilote de l’aéronef ;

4° Un anémomètre ;

5° Un moyen d’alerte des secours ;

6° Une paire de jumelles binoculaires.
