Article A322-166 of the French Sports Code

The organisation of flying sessions is adapted to the nature of the training, the level and the number of participants.

1° For all types of activity, an operator must be present outside the air stream;

2° For all types of activity, an instructor must be present in the air stream, at the entrance to the air stream or nearby to allow immediate intervention;

3° An instructor must be present in the air stream for all participants whose learning phase requires it.

L’organisation des séances de vol est adaptée à la nature de l’entraînement, au niveau et au nombre des pratiquants.

1° Pour tous les types d’activités, un opérateur doit être présent hors de la veine d’air ;

2° Pour tous les types d’activités, un moniteur doit être présent dans la veine d’air, à l’entrée de la veine d’air ou à proximité permettant une intervention immédiate ;

3° Pour tout pratiquant dont la phase d’apprentissage le requiert, un moniteur doit être présent dans la veine d’air.
