I.-The Martinique Regional Sports Conference is made up of four colleges:
1° The college of State representatives comprises :
a) The Prefect of Martinique or his representative;
b) The Rector of the Martinique Education Authority or his representative;
c) The Regional Academic Delegate for Youth, Commitment and Sport or his representative;
d) The Director General of the Martinique Regional Health Agency or his representative;
e) The Martinique Director of the Economy, Employment, Labour and Solidarity or his representative;
f) A representative of the University appointed by the Martinique Rector;
2° The college of representatives of local authorities and public establishments for inter-communal cooperation comprises :
a) Three representatives appointed by the territorial collectivity of Martinique;
b) One representative appointed by the Association of Mayors of Martinique, including one in agreement with the National Association of Elected Representatives in charge of Sport;
c) One representative appointed by the Communauté d’Agglomération du Centre de Martinique (CACEM);
d) One representative appointed by the agglomeration community of northern Martinique (CAP NORD);
e) One representative appointed by the agglomeration community of southern Martinique (CA Espace Sud);
3° The college of representatives of the sporting movement comprises :
a) Two representatives appointed by the Martinique Territorial Olympic and Sports Committee;
b) One representative appointed by the French Paralympic and Sports Committee;
c) Three representatives of approved sports federations appointed by the Martinique Territorial Olympic and Sports Committee;
d) One high-level sportsperson appointed by the French National Olympic and Sports Committee’s High-Level Athletes Commission;
4° The college of representatives of other natural and legal persons with an interest in the development of sport and professional organisations representing players from the economic world comprises:
a) One representative appointed by the Martinique business movement;
b) One representative appointed by the Martinique CPME;
c) One representative appointed by the Martinique Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
d) Two sports users appointed by the Prefect;
e) One representative appointed by the Prefect on the recommendation of the most representative trade union organisation in the sports sector, UNAPS;
f) One representative appointed by the body with equivalent responsibilities to the Centre de Ressources, d’Expertise et de Performance, appointed jointly by the Regional Prefect and the Martinique Local Authority.
II.The members of the Regional Sports Conference other than those mentioned in a to e of 1° of I are appointed for a period of five years, renewable once. An alternate member is appointed for each of them under the same conditions.
If the seat of a full or alternate member of the conference falls vacant for any reason whatsoever, he or she is replaced under the same conditions, within one month of the vacancy occurring, for the remainder of the term of office.
