I.-The Réunion Regional Sports Conference is made up of four colleges:
1° The college of State representatives comprises :
a) The Prefect of La Réunion or his representative;
b) The Rectrice of the Education Authority of La Réunion or her representative;
c) The Regional Academic Delegate for Youth, Commitment and Sport of La Réunion or his representative;
d) The Director General of the Regional Health Agency of La Réunion or her representative;
e) The Director of Economy, Employment, Work and Solidarity of La Réunion or her representative;
f) The Director of the Centre de Ressources, d’Expertise et de Performance Sportives de La Réunion or his representative;
g) A representative of a higher education establishment governed by Book VII of the Education Code appointed by the Rector of La Réunion;
2° The college of representatives of local authorities and public establishments for inter-municipal cooperation comprises :
a) Four representatives appointed by the Regional Council of La Réunion;
b) Four representatives appointed by the Departmental Council of La Réunion;
c) Four representatives of local authorities appointed by the Association des maires de France, including one in agreement with the Association nationale des élus en charge du sport;
d) One representative of public establishments for inter-communal cooperation on La Réunion with responsibility for sport, appointed by the Association des maires de France;
3° The college of representatives of the sporting movement comprises:
a) Three representatives appointed by the Réunion Regional Olympic and Sports Committee;
b) One representative appointed by the French Paralympic and Sports Committee;
c) Two representatives of approved sports federations within the meaning of article L. 131-8 constituted to organise the practice of a single sporting discipline or related Olympic disciplines, one of which is a delegate within the meaning of article L. 131-14 for the homologous Paralympic discipline, one representative of an approved affinity or multisport sports federation, also affiliated to the French Paralympic and Sports Committee, and one representative of a federation set up to organise the practice of a single sport discipline or related non-Olympic disciplines;
d) One high-level sportsperson appointed by the High-Level Athletes Commission of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee;
4° The college of representatives of other natural and legal persons with an interest in the development of sport and professional organisations representing economic players comprises :
a) One representative appointed by the Mouvement des Entreprises en France Réunion;
b) One representative appointed by the CPME Réunion;
c) One representative appointed by the Union des Entreprises de Proximité Réunion;
d) One representative appointed by the Union Sport et Cycle à La Réunion;
e) One representative appointed by the Conseil Social du Mouvement Sportif à La Réunion;
f) One representative appointed by the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de La Réunion;
g) Two sports users, resident on La Réunion, selected following a call for expressions of interest and appointed by the Prefect of La Réunion;
h) Three representatives appointed by the Prefect of La Réunion on the recommendation of the most representative trade union organisations, within the meaning of the provisions of the Labour Code, in the sports sector, insofar as they are based on La Réunion.
II – The members of the Regional Sports Conference other than those mentioned in a to f of 1° are appointed for a period of five years, renewable once. A deputy is appointed for each member under the same conditions.
If the seat of a full or alternate member of the conference falls vacant for any reason whatsoever, he or she is replaced under the same conditions, within one month of the vacancy occurring, for the remainder of the term of office.
