Article D122-2 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The issue of visas to foreigners falls within the remit of heads of consular posts and heads of diplomatic missions under the conditions set out in Decree no. 2008-1176 of 13 November 2008 on the powers of heads of diplomatic missions and heads of consular posts with regard to visas.
