Article D1222-10-2 of the French Public Health Code

The directors of blood transfusion establishments are appointed by the President of the Etablissement Français du Sang for a renewable term of four years.

The appointment document specifies, where applicable, the nature and extent of the delegation granted under the last paragraph of article R. 1222-8 by the President of the Etablissement Français du Sang for the management of the blood establishment concerned.

Les directeurs d’établissements de transfusion sanguine sont nommés par le président de l’Etablissement français du sang pour une durée de quatre ans renouvelable.

L’acte de nomination précise, le cas échéant, la nature et l’étendue de la délégation consentie au titre du dernier alinéa de l’article R. 1222-8 par le président de l’Etablissement français du sang pour la gestion de l’établissement de transfusion sanguine concerné.
