Article D150-3 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

When a person must serve several custodial sentences, the rules specific to persons convicted of one or more offences defined in Chapter I of Title II of Book IV of the Criminal Code relating to the conditions for granting measures falling within the jurisdiction of the sentence enforcement courts are applicable as long as one or more of the sentences being served or to be served corresponds to a conviction for these offences.

Lorsqu’une personne doit exécuter plusieurs peines privatives de liberté, les règles spécifiques aux condamnés pour une ou plusieurs infractions définies au chapitre Ier du titre II du livre IV du code pénal relatives aux conditions d’octroi des mesures relevant de la compétence des juridictions de l’application des peines sont applicables tant qu’une ou plusieurs des peines en cours d’exécution ou devant être exécutée correspond à une condamnation prononcée pour ces infractions.
