Article D214-9 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

Before issuing the authorisation, the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée seeks the opinion of the regional director of cultural affairs, who may consult experts in the field of cinema exhibition, distribution and cultural dissemination, as well as persons exercising functions in the cultural field within local authorities.

Préalablement à la délivrance de l’autorisation, le président du Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée sollicite l’avis du directeur régional des affaires culturelles qui peut procéder à une consultation préalable d’experts en matière d’exploitation, de distribution cinématographique et de diffusion culturelle ainsi que de personnes exerçant des fonctions dans le domaine culturel au sein des collectivités territoriales.
