Article D221-20 of the French Tourism Code

The national guide-interpreter diploma is a national diploma of the second cycle of higher education, within the meaning of articles L. 612-5 et seq of the Education Code.

The duration of studies leading to this qualification is set at one academic year, subject to any timetable adjustments that may be granted to students enrolled in continuing vocational training.

Le diplôme national de guide-interprète national est un diplôme national du second cycle de l’enseignement supérieur, au sens des articles L. 612-5 et suivants du code de l’éducation.

La durée des études y conduisant est fixée à une année universitaire, sous réserve des aménagements d’horaires pouvant être consentis aux étudiants accueillis au titre de la formation professionnelle continue.
