Article D231-1-5 of the French Sports Code

The sports that present particular constraints within the meaning of Article L. 231-2-3 are listed below:

1° Sports practised in a specific environment:

-underwater diving, including underground diving ;

2° Sporting disciplines, practised in competition, for which disqualification from combat is authorised, in particular or exclusively when, following a blow, one of the opponents is in a state that renders him/her incapable of defending him/herself and may even result in unconsciousness;

3° Sports involving the use of firearms or compressed air weapons;

4° Competitive sports involving the use of motorised land vehicles, with the exception of karting and radio-controlled model car racing;

5° Motorboating.

Les disciplines sportives qui présentent des contraintes particulières au sens de l’article L. 231-2-3 sont énumérées ci-après :

1° Les disciplines sportives qui s’exercent dans un environnement spécifique :

-la plongée subaquatique y compris souterraine ;

2° Les disciplines sportives, pratiquées en compétition, pour lesquelles la mise hors combat est autorisée, notamment ou exclusivement lorsqu’à la suite d’un coup porté l’un des adversaires se trouve dans un état le rendant incapable de se défendre et pouvant aller jusqu’à l’inconscience ;

3° Les disciplines sportives comportant l’utilisation d’armes à feu ou à air comprimé ;

4° Les disciplines sportives, pratiquées en compétition, comportant l’utilisation de véhicules terrestres à moteur à l’exception du karting et du modélisme automobile radioguidé ;

5° Les disciplines motonautiques.
