Article D232-3 of the French Sports Code

Athletes who have been sanctioned in application of articles L. 232-21-1 to L. 232-23-3-12 benefit from at least one medical consultation within a doping prevention medical unit.

At the end of this consultation, a personal certificate conforming to the standard model reproduced in appendix II-1-1 is given to the athlete concerned by the centre’s doctor and a copy is sent without delay, by any means, to the federation to which the athlete belongs as well as to the French Anti-Doping Agency.

Les sportifs qui ont fait l’objet d’une sanction en application des articles L. 232-21-1 à L. 232-23-3-12 bénéficient d’au moins une consultation médicale au sein d’une antenne médicale de prévention du dopage.

A l’issue de cette consultation, une attestation nominative conforme au modèle type reproduit en annexe II-1-1 est remise au sportif concerné par le médecin de l’antenne et une copie est transmise sans délai, par tout moyen, à la fédération dont le sportif relève ainsi qu’à l’Agence française de lutte contre le dopage.
