Article D314-25 of the French Consumer Code

Lenders shall ensure that the professional knowledge and skills of their staff are kept up to date, as part of ongoing training, through appropriate professional training, the minimum duration of which shall be set by order of the Minister responsible for the economy, taking particular account of changes in the applicable legislation or regulations. 1° A credit institution or finance company mentioned in Title I of Book V of the code monétaire et financier ;
2° A training body chosen by the person concerned, their employer, or where applicable, their principal, under the conditions set out in Article D. 314-26.

Les prêteurs s’assurent de la mise à jour des connaissances et compétences professionnelles de leurs personnels, dans le cadre de la formation continue, par une formation professionnelle adaptée, dont la durée minimale est fixée par arrêté du ministre chargé de l’économie, prenant notamment en compte les changements de la législation ou de la réglementation applicable.
Cette formation est dispensée par :
1° Un établissement de crédit ou une société de financement mentionnée au titre Ier du livre V du code monétaire et financier ;
2° Un organisme de formation choisi par l’intéressé, son employeur, ou le cas échéant, son mandant, dans les conditions prévues à l’article D. 314-26.
