Article D3141-32 of the French Labour Code

The hourly wage used to calculate holiday pay is the quotient of the amount of the last pay paid to the employee in the reporting company that last employed him/her by the number of hours worked during the period thus remunerated.
In the event of a change in rates of pay, those applicable during the period of leave shall be taken into account. However, this provision only applies to employees who, at the time of their leave, are employed in a reporting company.

Le salaire horaire pris en considération pour le calcul de l’indemnité de congé est le quotient du montant de la dernière paye versée au salarié dans l’entreprise assujettie qui l’employait en dernier lieu par le nombre d’heures de travail effectuées pendant la période ainsi rémunérée.
En cas de changement des taux de salaires, il est tenu compte de ceux applicables pendant le congé. Toutefois, cette disposition n’est applicable qu’aux salariés qui, au moment de leur congé, sont employés dans une entreprise assujettie.
