Article D32-30 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

When one or more of the obligations and prohibitions mentioned in Article D. 32-29 have been imposed, the victim may, if he or she expressly consents and for a specified period, be allocated a remote protection device enabling the public authorities to be alerted in the event of a breach of these obligations or prohibitions.

The device provided for in this article may also be used when the prohibition on the offender meeting his victim is the result of an alternative prosecution, a penal composition, a probationary suspension, a modified sentence or a conditional release.

Article D32-30

Lorsque l’une ou plusieurs des obligations et interdictions mentionnées à l’article D. 32-29 ont été prononcées, la victime peut, si elle y consent expressément et pour une durée déterminée, se voir attribuer un dispositif de téléprotection permettant d’alerter les autorités publiques en cas de violation de ces obligations ou interdictions.

Il peut également être recouru au dispositif prévu par le présent article lorsque l’interdiction faite à l’auteur de l’infraction de rencontrer sa victime résulte d’une alternative aux poursuites, d’une composition pénale, d’un sursis probatoire, d’un aménagement de peine ou d’une libération conditionnelle.
