Article D323-4 of the French Tourism Code

To be classified as a residential tourist village, the establishment must include furnished premises divided into categories, according to criteria laid down in a classification table drawn up by the body referred to in article L. 141-2 and approved by order of the minister responsible for tourism, as well as shared premises and facilities defined by the said table and located nearby.

Pour être classé village résidentiel de tourisme, l’établissement doit comprendre des locaux meublés répartis en catégories, en fonction de critères fixés par un tableau de classement élaboré par l’organisme mentionné à l’article L. 141-2 et homologué par arrêté du ministre chargé du tourisme, ainsi que des locaux et équipements communs définis par ledit tableau et situés à proximité.
