Developed camping and caravanning sites are intended to accommodate tents, caravans, mobile leisure homes and light leisure dwellings. They consist of bare pitches or pitches equipped with one of these facilities, as well as communal facilities.
They are operated on a permanent or seasonal basis and are open to customers who do not take up residence there.
They must have internal regulations drawn up in accordance with the standard model laid down by order of the Minister responsible for tourism.
An information leaflet on the conditions for renting pitches all year round must also be given to all owners of mobile leisure homes. Owners must certify that they have read this notice before signing any contract for the hire of a pitch all year round. An order issued by the Minister for Tourism specifies the information that must be included in this notice.
