The Interministerial Committee for the Fight against Drugs and Addictive Behaviour prepares the Government’s decisions, at national and international level, concerning the fight against the production, processing, transport and resale of narcotics and related financial transactions on the one hand, and the consumption of these products on the other.
To this end, it promotes prevention, care, social integration, information, research, international cooperation and training for those involved in the fight against drugs and drug addiction.
In addition, this committee contributes to the development of government policy in the field of prevention, care, education and information on addictions that are dangerous to public health or safety.
