The activities of a National Professional Council respect the requirements of scientific ethics and the independence of expertise, in accordance with the principles defined by the Health Expertise Charter referred to in article L. 1452-2.
The members of the National Professional Councils only pursue objectives that are directly related to their missions.
Neither the Assembly, nor the Board of Directors, nor the Executive Committee, nor any of the members of a National Professional Council or an umbrella organisation may solicit or accept financial assistance on its behalf which, by its nature or size, is likely to jeopardise the independence necessary for the performance of the Council’s or organisation’s duties.
