Article D4311-46 of the French Public Health Code

Nurses who hold the certificate of aptitude for the duties of anaesthetist assistant created by the decree of 9 April 1960 or who hold the State diploma of nurse anaesthetist may use the title of State-qualified nurse anaesthetist, to the exclusion of any other designation.

Les infirmiers et infirmières, titulaires du certificat d’aptitude aux fonctions d’aide-anesthésiste créé par le décret du 9 avril 1960 ou titulaires du diplôme d’Etat d’infirmier anesthésiste peuvent faire usage du titre d’infirmier anesthésiste diplômé d’Etat, à l’exclusion de toute autre appellation.
