Article D4311-47 of the French Public Health Code

The duration of the preparatory studies for the award of the State diploma of nurse anaesthetist is two years.

The following are set by order of the Minister of Health:

1° The conditions for student admission ;

2° The programme and organisation of studies ;

3° The procedures for granting exemptions from study requirements;

4° The procedures for validating courses and placements with a view to awarding the State diploma.

La durée des études préparatoires à la délivrance du diplôme d’Etat d’infirmier anesthésiste est de deux années.

Sont fixés par arrêté du ministre chargé de la santé :

1° Les conditions d’admission des étudiants ;

2° Le programme et l’organisation des études ;

3° Les modalités d’attribution des dispenses d’études ;

4° Les modalités de validation des enseignements et des stages en vue de la délivrance du diplôme d’Etat.
