Article D4341-8 of the French Public Health Code

The maximum number of trainees that the training supervisor may receive may not exceed three if the training supervisor works in a public or private not-for-profit health establishment. Within this limit, it is set by agreement between the training supervisor and the head of department or the medical director of the establishment.

In private practice, a training supervisor may not receive more than one trainee at a time.

Le nombre maximum de stagiaires que le maître de stage peut accueillir ne peut excéder trois si le maître de stage exerce dans un établissement de santé public ou privé à but non lucratif. Dans cette limite, il est fixé par accord entre le maître de stage et le chef de service ou le directeur médical de l’établissement.

Dans le cadre de l’exercice libéral, un maître de stage ne peut recevoir plus d’un stagiaire à la fois.
