Article D4371-1 of the French Public Health Code

The diplomas, certificates or titles enabling their holders to make professional use of the title of dietician are :

1° The Advanced Technician’s Diploma in Dietetics, governed by the provisions of Decree no. 95-665 of 9 May 1995 on the general regulations for the Advanced Technician’s Diploma;

2° The university diploma in technology, specialising in applied biology, dietetics option;

3° The dietetics technician’s certificate instituted by the decree of 30 December 1952, first part, and the decree of 14 September 1953, second part, in accordance with decree n° 52-178 of 19 February 1952 creating and fixing the general provisions of the public examinations provided for by the amended law of 4 August 1942 relating to the award of professional diplomas and reclassified as a higher technician’s certificate by the decree of 2 August 1962.

Les diplômes, certificats ou titres permettant à leurs titulaires de faire usage professionnel du titre de diététicien sont :

1° Le brevet de technicien supérieur de diététique régi par les dispositions du décret n° 95-665 du 9 mai 1995 portant règlement général du brevet de technicien supérieur ;

2° Le diplôme universitaire de technologie, spécialité biologie appliquée, option diététique ;

3° Le brevet de technicien de diététique institué par l’arrêté du 30 décembre 1952, première partie, et l’arrêté du 14 septembre 1953, deuxième partie, conformément au décret n° 52-178 du 19 février 1952 portant création et fixation des dispositions générales des examens publics prévus par la loi du 4 août 1942 modifiée relative à la délivrance des diplômes professionnels et reclassé comme brevet de technicien supérieur par l’arrêté du 2 août 1962.
