Article D548 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

In the event of an adjournment for the purposes of investigations into the personality or the material, family and social situation provided for by Article 132-70-1 of the Criminal Code, where bail is ordered as part of a judicial supervision order made pursuant to article 397-3-1 of this code, the provisions of articles R. 19 et seq. of this code shall apply.

The copy of the decision sent pursuant to Article R. 19 is that of the court that issued the adjournment and judicial review.

The notices provided for by Article R. 22 are sent to the public prosecutor.

En cas d’ajournement aux fins d’investigations sur la personnalité ou la situation matérielle, familiale et sociale prévu par l’article 132-70-1 du code pénal, lorsqu’un cautionnement est ordonné dans le cadre d’un contrôle judiciaire décidé en application de l’article 397-3-1 du présent code, les dispositions des articles R. 19 et suivants du présent code sont applicables.

La copie de la décision transmise en application de l’article R. 19 est celle de la juridiction ayant prononcé l’ajournement et le contrôle judiciaire.

Les avis prévus par l’article R. 22 sont adressés au procureur de la République.
